ANTI-BLAZE
Minicon Autobot

Anti-Blaze, a junior member of the Minicon Council of Sages, was among those who argued most passionately against asking Optimus Prime and his Autobots for help. He felt that involvement with the larger Transformers had brought only grief to the Minicon race, though he now regrets his position. He has been forced to make the unpleasant transition from a relatively unknown political figure to a military leader at the front lines as he fights against Thrust and the other evil Minicon rebels.
ASCENTOR
Minicon Autobot
STR:9 INT:7.5 SPD:8.5 END:8 RNK:6 CRG:7.5 FPR:4 SKL:9
Unlike Monocle and Landslide, Ascentor maintained contact with the Minicon robots that returned to Cybertron after the Armada Battles. Over the years, he has developed a philosophical give-and-take with the Minicon Council of Sages. This ongoing discussion occupies much of his core processor time, causing him to be distracted, and vulnerable to the traps set by Payload. However, his years of deep thought have also caused his sensory and motor-control systems to rewrite themselves, giving him what appears to nearly be a sixth sense when it comes to avoiding pitfalls and sneak attacks.
BUZZSAW
Decepticon
STR:7 INT:6 SPD:8 END:8 RNK:6 CRG:7 FPR:8 SKL:7
Despite the evacuation of Cybertron, and the incredible danger presented by the black hole, many of the bravest, craziest or most foolish stayed behind. Buzzsaw is one of the crazies, a dangerous rogue from the Decepticon old guard who intends to hoard as much of the planet's Energon as he can for himself, hoping to gain enough power to destroy the Autobots upon their return! For now, he is content to lurk in the abandoned cities of Cybertron, practicing his marksmanship by blowing the tops off the old Energon Towers.
Buzzsaw is actually an older Transformer name that dates back to Beast Wars! In 1995, Hasbro created an all-new line of Transformers toys called Transformers: Beast Wars where old characters were re-imagined into animals. Megatron became a dinosaur and Optimus Primal was a gorilla. One of the characters that was never in the TV show, but appeared in product was Buzzsaw - a yellow jacket wasp. This toy, which originally was used in Transformers: Armada as Cyclonus, was given a new head mould that resembles the Buzzsaw toy from 1995, and a paint job the hearkens back to the colours used on the Beast Wars toy too!
CHECKPOINT
Minicon Autobot
STR:5 INT:8.5 SPD:7 END:10 RNK:6 CRG:10 FPR:7 SKL:9
Checkpoint worked as an information specialist and spy for Anti-Blaze even before Thrust began his rebellion. His speed and talent for disguise, as well as a cluster of holographic projectors housed on either side of his head make him ideal for infiltrating enemy formations. But his real talent is his ability to get a read on a subject with minimal contact; Checkpoint can make incredibly accurate guesses about an individual's personality and motives after only a few moments of conversation. This talent makes him a dangerous enemy, and a valuable resource to Anti-Blaze and the Council of Sages.
DEMOLISHOR
Decepticon
STR:9 INT:7 SPD:4 END:5 RNK:5 CRG:5 FPR:9 SKL:7
Demolishor thinks just about as fast as he drives. He has heard rumours about the return of Galvatron. Quite frankly, he hoped they weren't true. After working for the Decepticon leader for years, he's been fine without someone bigger and badder than he is to kick him around. Still, given how thick Cybertron has been getting with Scrapmetal vermin, it'd be nice to have a few more Decepticons around to back him up.
Demolishor is a veteran of the ancient wars. He was brought online during the Armada Minicon conflict and he survived - but barely. He then joined the Autobots for a short time during the Energon wars, but being a Decepticon through and through, he defected and rejoined his evil cohorts. Now, with the conflict once more back on Cybertron, Demolishor is happy to once again dust off his plasma cannons and leap into battle!
GALVATRON

The rage Megatron feels after his defeat by Metroplex activates the dormant power within his Unicron armour. This vast energy draws power directly from the Giant Planet itself, feeding it into Megatron and changing him into the mighty Galvatron! A living engine of destruction, Galvatron lives only to conquer all and grind the Universe beneath his armoured heel. His weapons and intellect super-charged by the living energy of the Giant Planet, there are none powerful enough to stand in his way!
If the Autobots thought Megatron was tough - they had another thing coming. And that other thing was Galvatron. After being decimated by Metroplex, Megatron called out for power - more power than he could ever hope to wield. Like Overhaul and the Jungle Planet Cyber Key - the Giant Planet Cyber Key awoke and granted Megatron giant-sized powers and a new form. With the combined might of the Unicron armour and the raw, untapped powers of the Giant Planet Cyber Planet Key coursing through his spark, Galvatron is now the most powerful Decepticon there ever was. He's so powerful that he destroyed, single-handedly, an entire city on the Giant Planet. Now, he didn't just 'destroy' it - he turned every building to crystalline dust. Now that's power!
HOT SHOT (Cybertron Defence)

STR:9 INT:8 SPD:9 END:7 RNK:9 CRG:10 FPR:10 SKL:9
Hot Shot isn't psyched to give up his modified racer mode and the speed that went with it, but in the service of Cybertron, any sacrifice is worthwhile to him. His adventures on the Speed Planet taught him that speed isn't everything – true victory can only be won through a combination of wits, reflexes, and, when it comes down to it, the right weaponry. His new, heavily armed modes pack enough firepower to keep most enemies at bay, but if they get close enough, Hot Shot is more than happy to show them the sword fighting techniques he learned from Brakedown back on the Speed Planet.
Hot Shot is the same old Hot Shot that he was when he was a speedy sports car, with just a few more tons of weight, armour and weapons added onto his chassis! During his stint on the planet of Gigantion, Hot Shot tried out some tricks on the massive structures that the giant Transformers had created. Using his missile launchers as over-glorified boosters, Hot Shot found that he could still drive around a full-on 360º loop-de-loop. Using his concussion grenades as to cushion his descent, Hot Shot proved to himself that no matter the form, the spark remains the same ...

Jolt - the leader of the team, and the only one able to speak a human language - is a great lover of human culture, addicted to television, music, and the Internet. On more than one occasion he has caused difficulty for the Autobots by forgetting he's not a human being. Six-Speed and Reverb, though sometimes frustrated by their leader's tendency to become distracted by cartoons and web-comics, love the excitement of missions with their human partners, working as a fast response strike and rescue team on away missions on the Lost Planets.
Jolt is a TV junkie! That's how he learned to speak English! He would work at home on the Giant Planet to try and pick up Earth TV signals on his computer and he would watch everything from cartoons, to sitcoms to dramas and movies. Don't tell Bud, Coby, or Lori, but he really loves to watch soap operas!

There, he has encountered other, powerful beings, and learned many truths. Though Kobushi attempts to interrupt his meditation at every opportunity with petty challenges, Landslide has yet to fall before the aggressive robot's attacks, using his inner strength and passive nature to create the ultimate martial defence.

In 1999, Japan introduced a new Transformers series - it was called Beast Wars Neo. There were a ton of figures in this line like a rabbit Transformer, a horse Transformer, and even a penguin Transformer! But one of the most interesting in the line was Longrack - Longrack was a giraffe Transformer! His function was a Deputy Commander under an Optimus Prime character that turned into a woolly mammoth! His intellect, ego, and talent for deception are second to none, and he rules his Decepticons with an iron-fisted combination of fear and force of personality. He is determined to beat Optimus Prime and the Autobots to the lost planet keys.
There is nothing Megatron loves more than power. First, he was after the Minicons, then he was after all of the energon in the world and now he's after the Cyber Planet Keys so he can rule the universe! In between all of those conquests, he found time to lead the Decepticons, battle the Autobots, get trapped inside Unicron, get a few new bodies and eventually wear parts of Unicron as his armour! Monocle could be considered one of the mysterious ghost vehicles, but for a different reason. They spend most of their time on the dark side of the moon, where few humans go, and are occasionally spotted by explorers driving across the empty landscape, or meditating on the floor of an old crater. Their peace is disturbed only by the disruptive aggression of Scattorbrain and the other members of the Lunar Assault Team.

Dedicated to the protection of all life and the preservation of freedom for all sentient beings, he serves as a role model for his fellow Autobots. It is through his keen intelligence, even hand, steady nerves and endless compassion that the Autobots continue to frustrate the evil plans of Decepticon again and again. In a desperate race against time, Optimus Prime has been forced to send teams of his best soldiers into unknown parts of the Universe in search of the lost Cyber Planet Keys, ancient artefacts with the power to save Cybertron and the rest of the Universe from the giant black hole formed from the implosion of Unicron.
In the history of the Transformers brand in the United States, there have been over twenty-five different versions of Optimus Prime! If you add in the various versions of Optimus Primal - there have been close to forty different versions of the classic red, blue and silver hero!
During the desperate final battle to destroy Unicron nearly ten years ago, Wing Sabre and Optimus Prime became fast friends. It was there, within the depths of the planet-sized Unicron that they first discovered their ability to combine into the powerful Sonic Wing Mode.
Since then, the two warriors have grown apart. Optimus Prime is a born leader, committed to leading the Autobots on Cybertron and trying to build a new peace. He never quite got used to his friend's cavalier attitude towards rules, but when Wing Sabre rejoined the Autobots for the fight against Galvatron, no one was more glad to see him than Optimus Prime.

With the rediscovery of the lost colony worlds and the reunification of the Transformers race after millions of years, Optimus Prime has become the leader of far more people than he ever could have imagined. Cybertron Primus has been reactivated, the Planet Keys returned to their rightful place on Cybertron , and Galvatron and his Decepticons all but defeated. It is time, he thinks, for a new golden era of peace in the galaxy, and he has ordered the construction of a fleet of starships so that the Autobots might explore the galaxy around them, bringing peace and justice wherever they go.
Optimus Prime. The name is synonymous with goodness, freedom, and righteousness. Did you know that there have only been three main actors to ever voice the mighty Optimus prime since he was introduced in 1984. Peter Cullen provided the voice for Optimus Prime for the Generation 1 cartoon and movie. An actor named Neil Kaplan took over the role of Optimus Prime in a show called "Robots in Disguise" but in terms of sheer episodes - the actor Gary Chalk has been the most prolific. He was the voice of Optimus Primal in Beast Wars and Beast Machines and was the voice of Optimus Prime in Armada, Energon and Cybertron! That's a lot of episodes!

Fearless leader of the Autobots for as long as most can remember, Optimus Prime is a wise commander, as well as a fearsome warrior. Despite his power, he prefers to resolve conflicts without violence, believing that even the most dedicated criminal can be redeemed. Many unfortunate villains have mistaken his compassion for weakness, and paid the price of evil at his mighty hands.
During a short time on Gigantion, the Giant Planet, Optimus Prime needed to investigate a long-forgotten stronghold in the depths of one of the largest and oldest abandoned cities. Unfortunately, the city was also the most dangerous to explore with its windy roads, tiny spaces, and precariously balanced machinery. Metroplex and his crew created a new body for Optimus Prime to make his way through the jagged metal of the ancient ruins. With his smaller form, Optimus was able to get down, grab the info and back again without even scratching a fender!

PRIMUS
STR:?? INT:?+ SPD:5 END:9 RNK:?+ CRG:10 FPR:10 SKL:??
Mighty creator of the Transformers race, both Autobots and Decepticons owe him their loyalty as his children. He is as old as the universe itself, and matched in power only by his twin brother, the evil Unicron. Primus is the Lord of Light - a pure, natural force of order, strength, and peace, committed eternally to the struggle against chaos, destruction and the ever-advancing darkness of Unicron.
Until now, Cybertron has been known only as the ancient home of the Transformers. With their home damaged almost beyond repair and unable to resist the pull of a gigantic black hole that threatens to destroy it, the Autobots have retrieved the legendary Omega Lock and the four Cyber Planet Keys. The power of these ancient artefacts re-links the spark of Primus to his physical form - the planet Cybertron itself! Content throughout history merely to observe his creations around them, Primus has never before unleashed his full might. Though he has awakened from time to time during the long history of the Transformers, never before has the danger to the universe been so greatthat he has felt the need to show his true form. All of creation cries out its need for its greatest champion and protector.
Primus has been part of the Transformers mythology for close to twenty years. He was first introduced as a concept in the original Marvel Transformers comic books. The legend and story grew until Primus became as important in the Transformers world as Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Unicron. Transformers: Cybertron marks the first time the world has truly seen the creator of the Transformers in action!
( We just noticed the extra bio stuff on the side of Primus' box and added it - the second paragraph. Strangely, it really does say, "Content throughout history merely to observe his creations around them," causing Primus to be singular and plural at the same time. I guess a god can be whatever he wants, eh? )

Red Alert is, first and foremost, a healer. As Autobot medic, he has never hesitated to rush onto a battlefield under heavy fire to assist an injured comrade. Indeed, there are many Autobots ( and even one or two Decepticons ) who owe their lives to him. It is because of his skills as a healer that Optimus Prime handpicks him to be part of the team - along with Hot Shot and Scattorshot - to return to Cybertron and cleanse his home world of the Terrorcon infestation. Though he is uncomfortable with the new armour and heavy weapons with which he has been upgraded, he recognises their necessity, and will not hesitate to engage in battle if his hand is forced.
In his newly reformatted form, Red Alert has even more diagnostic and medical abilities than ever before. Every finger, every panel, every diode and wire has the ability to reconfigure, re-transform and re-deploy at the merest thought from Red Alert to aid one of his fallen comrades on the battlefield. This was put to the test during one of the massive swarms of Scrapmetal on Cybertron when Hot Shot - always the reckless youth - ran headfirst into the swarm. Overrun with the beasts, they bit off Hot Shot's arm. Racing to his aid, Red Alert grabbed the arm and used his massive shoulder-mounted ion cannon to knock back the swelling insecticons. STR:7 INT:5 SPD:4.5 END:6 RNK:4 CRG:9 FPR:9 SKL:7
After the Unicron Battles, many Minicons chose to remain on Earth, in hiding and separate from the ongoing conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons. Tankor, with his teammates on the Air Defence Team, hid among the armed forces of Earth so that they could protect the humans from Shockwave and the Sky Attack Team. The desire to protect human life is nearly an obsession for Tankor; he exists solely to prevent the damage inflicted by Shockwave and his aerial companions. The return of the Transformers to Earth has forced them once again to take sides in a larger conflict.
THRUST
Minicon Decepticon
STR:7 INT:5.5 SPD:10+ END:9 RNK:5 CRG:8 FPR:7.5 SKL:8.5
For Thrust and his mates on the Sky Terror Team there is no greater joy than to defy the laws of the Minicon Council of Sages. The peaceful Minicon colonies on the moons of Cybertron are more prison than home to Thrust, who thrives on chaos. The appearance of the black hole offered a rare opportunity for him. The Council of Sages' refusal to ask the Autobots for help made it easy for him to sabotage the ships intended to evacuate the Minicon robots, leaving them all trapped on the incredibly dangerous colonies as the black hole grows ever more powerful.
THUNDERBLAST
Minicon Autobot
STR:8 INT:10 SPD:6.5 END:8 RNK:7 CRG:8 FPR:7.5 SKL:8
These two aggressive robots have been rivals for centuries. Over the years Thunderblast has specialized in long-range defence against high altitude attacks specifically for the purpose of defeating Sky Lynx. The two robots treat this rivalry as a game, ultimately caring little for victory, as long as they can offer each other a challenge. Thunderblast shares a rough sort of respect with Sky Lynx, and wishes that circumstances were different so that they might be friends in peace as well as war.
ULTRA MAGNUS (Costco exclusive)
Autobot
Known throughout the Autobot ranks for his boundless courage, Ultra Magnus is a powerful warrior and able leader in his own right. He is nagged by a constant self-doubt brought on by the fact that he was passed over in favor of his brother when it came time to pass on the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. Though his jealousy of Optimus Prime once drove him nearly to treasonous violence, he has since grown older and wiser. His competitive nature drives him constantly to prove himself against the Decepticons, but his natural intelligence makes him a careful planner. Not given to philosophy like his brother, Ultra Magnus is a straightforward thinker. He dislikes wasted effort, and often his commands amount to little more than one or two words.
VECTOR PRIME
Autobot
STR:?? INT:10 SPD:?? END:10 RNK:?? CRG:10 FPR:10 SKL:10
Vector Prime is one of the first Transformers. A powerful, wise and incredibly ancient warrior, he has served as protector over Cybertron since its beginnings. Pulled out of the shadows of time by a distress signal broadcast by his damaged planet, he arrives too late to save Cybertron without assistance. Arising from an era in which all Transformers lived in harmony, he is unaware of the conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons, a fact that Megatron uses to trick him and steal the map to the lost planets and the Planet Keys. Realising his mistake, he joins Optimus Prime and pledges his knowledge and skill to the desperate quest to retrieve the planet keys before Megatron.
Vector Prime is a Transformer from the earliest days of Cybertron's history. There is a legend of thirteen original Transformers, built by Primus before he took the shape of the Planet Cybertron. It has been rumoured that Vector Prime is actually one these original thirteen!
Vector Prime outmatches Starscream in wits and strength, but the ancient Autobot is pushed to the limits of even his incredible power by the demands of the search for the Planet Keys and the defence of Cybertron from its countless enemies. Forced to use his remarkable time-travel abilities to constantly hop between dimensions, he finds himself weakened during the frequent skirmishes with Decepticon forces. Nonetheless, he must persevere, for nothing less than the survival of the universe is at stake!
VECTOR PRIME (Galaxy Force ... as in 'repaint' not 'Japanese')
Autobot
STR:?? INT:10 SPD:?? END:10 RNK:?? CRG:10 FPR:10 SKL:10
Ancient, powerful, and wise, Vector Prime has survived all through the long ages of his existence through more than mere power. Granted the ability to travel through time and across dimensions, Vector Prime has left echoes of himself throughout the past and future of countless dimensions. Though his appearance often shifts along with the dimensions through which he passes, he remains always the same - loyal, honest, and devoted to the cause of justice. Though he may sacrifice himself in one incarnation, Vector Prime will always exist, and will always rise whenever the universe is threatened.
As Vector Prime traveled through time and space, he picked up an hobby that he found intriguing from an old movie he once saw on Earth. He began to phase in and out of time on a daily basis to look at a store window in a small town in the Midwest. It was here that he became 'friends' with a mannequin of a gentleman in a fine suit. He first saw this man in 1896. For the next 110 years, Vector Prime came to visit the mannequin and see what type of outfit he was wearing on that day. Over the years, the store changed hands, became more or less fashionable and finally was closed down. Vector Prime found it to be a wonderful diversion from his time traveling adventures ...
WING SABRE
Autobot
STR:9 INT:8 SPD:9.5 END:8 RNK:7 CRG:10 FPR:9.5 SKL:9
Wing Sabre formed a close bond with Optimus Prime during the Powerlinx Battles. Their friendship was forged in the treacherous interior of the unconscious Unicron, when they first combined to form the powerful Sonic Wing mode. Though he is a canny warrior with a keen tactical mind and wisdom beyond his years, he is still eager to prove himself to Optimus Prime and the other Autobots. As one of the few Autobots with a warp system capable of interstellar flight without the use of a space bridge, he is often assigned duties as a lone flanker, attacking enemy positions from behind. With weapons systems and armour to rival the most legendary warriors of Cybertron, he is more than up to the task!
( As far as we know, Wing Sabre's secret bio only ever contained a picture, no extra text. )
